Alabama Counties - Criminal History Records

Alabama has 67 counties, each with an elected Circuit Court Clerk who keeps criminal court records. Circuit Clerks serve as the main custodians of felony and misdemeanor case files, dispositions, and court documents. The clerk's office does filing and public access. All counties use the Alacourt ACCESS tool. You can use Alacourt to search by name or case number across any county in the state. For full court files, call the right county clerk.
